Meetup Requests

Meetup requests are currently OPEN.

Meetup requests for 2025 will be open through August 22nd. Please read all the information on this page before submitting your requests.

Want to get groups of fans together to socialize, or have a cosplay photoshoot? Request an official meetup!

Accepted meetups will be included on the convention schedule and given a reserved hour in our designated meetup area. Meetups can be formal or informal – make a plan as the organizer, or just request that a time slot be given to your favorite fandom. You don’t need to organize anything, or even provide your name, unless you want to take responsibility for the group. Submit your request and then show up at the designated time to meet other fans of your favorite media!

The meetup area is an open space with some chairs. It is indoors, with a door to the outside if the weather is nice for an outdoor photoshoot! There is no tech equipment provided in the meetup area; it is a casual place to gather.

All meetups are multi-functional; we do not make distinctions between social gatherings and photoshoots. Official meetups are a place for both! Please note that Anime Fusion cannot provide organizers or photographers for meetups. The convention only provides a designated time and place to meet, and advertises the meetup schedule to help fans find each other.
